I am a librarian and information scientist with over 20 years of experience in the communications industry, including project management, information sharing, researching and designing databases, web sites, intranets, knowledge management and e-learning services.

As an employee, I have started up and managed documentation and information centres for J. Walter Thompson and Fininvest in Milano (Italy) between 1988 and 1995.

As an entrepreneur and a project manager or a consultant, between 1995 and 2008 I provided research, business cases, information design, programme/ project management and training services through my own company to publishers like Il Sole 24 Ore and Masson-Elsevier, media and ICT majors like Emi Music Italy, Telecom Italia and Mediaset, trade associations like Federfarma and Assap-Assocomunicazione, and more than 40 italian universities' libraries.

Relocated to London in 2009, I am looking for career opportunities as well as contract / temporary work assignments, preferably in project office, librarian or information scientists roles that are supposed to deal in any sector with innovation, new technologies, P3O (portfolio, programme and project management) or change management achievements (such as data governance and assurance projects, digital libraries and e-reference developments, advances in information and knowledge management, e-learning and mentoring services related to IT skills and information behaviours, social computing and Web 2.0 etc).

Registered for Chartership with the Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals (CILIP), full member of the Association for Project Management and Prince2 Practitioner.
